Aruna Venkatraman has been learning Carnatic music from a very young age from various teachers. Most recently, she has been trained under the able guidance of Surmani K.S.Vasanthalakshmi, who is the head of KARANAPRIYA MUSIC at Gurgaon, India. During the course of her training under K.S.Vasanthalakshmi, she also given a few performances which include both solo and group singing.
