Meaning:
O Mind! Somehow try to gain devotion. Without getting unduly attached to this illusory world as ours, involve yourself in devotion to the feet of the Lord reclining on the leaf of Vatavriksha, the banyan tree. Is your pride in learning warranted? Do not fall prey to ignorance. Why have you still not thought of going to AyOdhya to have Darshana of the gem of hte solar race? Do you feel ashamed to chant the name of the Lord and sing His praises? This is not proper for you. Why don't you respond? Do you have an ulcer in your mouth? If you are told not to misbehave toward women, do you feel ashamed? Remember, this mortal coil may burst like a bubble at any time, so don't place faith in it. Even when you happen to be prosperous and happy, associate only with devotees of hte Lord and meditate on His radian form. There is no other way of snapping worldly bondage and the birth-death cycle.
