Meaning:

pallavi

kANa - By seeing
mukti peralAm - we can attain liberation.
oru tarattil kANa - By seeing once
mukti peralAm - we can attain liberation.

anupallavi

kANa mukti tarum tillai - In Tillai (Chidambaram) which gives Mukti upon seeing it,
tANuvAi irundu - residing as Sthanu (the unchanging one),

sONagiri vallavar - the adept one of Arunachala,
panca bANanaik-kaNNAl eritta - who burnt Manmatha who has five arrows, with his (third) eye.

purANa sundarar - the ancient, handsome one,

nirvANar enum - known to be the embodiment of pure, ultimate bliss,
aruL seyum - who showered grace
tamizh mUvANarukku - upon the three poet-saints of Tamil (Sambandar, Appar and Sundarar)
pErambala vANar - the resident of the great Sabha,
(By seeing)
tam sivanda pAdam - his red-hued feet ( we can attain liberation).

Note : the first line refers to the famous Shloka in the Puranas "darSanAt abhrasadasi.."

nIlakaNTar - the blue-throated one
viDam uNDa - who drank poison
paNDu - long back,
purahara shambhu - Shambhu, who destroyed the three cities,

siva sankarar - the auspicious Shankara
tudi koNDa - whor receives the praises of
muNDakat-tiru maNALar - Vishnu , the lord of Lakshmi who resides on a lotus,
puNDarIkAsanar - and Brahma seated on a lotus,

naTESar - the lord of dancers,
daNDanai puri - who punished
pracaNDa kAlanai - the fierce Yama
udaittu - by kicking

(By seeing his)
puNDarIka malart-tALai - lotus-flower-like feet, ( we can attain liberation).

Adaravap pUN aNindu - wearing a dancing snake as ornament
tEDariya tigazh pAdam - in his shining foot that is hard to find,
vEDanukkaruLi - blessing the hunter (Kannapar),
mUvar pADavE mana magizhndu - his heart rejoicing as the three saints sing,

naTarAjar - Nataraja
Adiya gangai punaindu - bearing the moving Ganga
nIDiya sen-chaDaiyin - in his long, tawny matted locks
kUDiyoLir - shines together (with River Ganga)

(By seeing his)
Adiya malarp-pAdattai - dancing lotus-feet ( we can attain liberation)

caraNam 3


panca vadana mahEsar - the great lord with five faces,
kunjara carma dharar - the one wearing the elephant skin,
vanci sivakAmi nEsar - the beloved of the creeper-like slender Sivakami

vincu kanaka sabEsar - the lord of the excellent Golden Hall,
tam nenjil udayam purinda - who emerges(lives) in the heart of
tanjam enru aDaindavar - those seeking Him as refuge.
(By seeing his)
sen silambaNi oLirum kuncitat-tAL malarai - bent, red-hued, shining lotus-feet wearing an anklet (we can attain liberation)
