O son of Dasharatha! Destroyer of Rakshasas! Show me mercy and protect me. Enough of your deceptive tricks. I can no longer stand them. Lord of the lotus heart! I am a stranger to the path of righteousness. Realising the hopelessness of my plight, do condescend to come near me and purify me, ridding me of my moral depravity. With an attractive blue complexion, beautiful eyes and virtuous attributes, how long do you propose to sleep on your serpent couch disregarding the cries of distress of your devotees? Shed your anger and pray protect me now.
