Meaning:

pallavi

I attained (aDaindEn) bliss (Anandam), having seen(Anandam) and exulted(kaLittu) in the sacred dance (tirunaTanam) of the Golden Hall (kanaka sabhai)

anupallavi

As the sages ( munivargaL) like Sanaka and Sanandana sing( pADa), and as the four-faced(catur mukha) god (dEvanum) i.e. Brahma sets (pODa) the beats of rhythm (tALangaL),

Everyday(dinamum), as the three thousand (mUvAyiram) people ( pErgaLum) assemble(kUDa), (the dance that goes) thus (enru) "taiyya dhittOm tattOm", (I saw and obtained bliss)

caraNam

As the hordes (gaNangaLum) of Shiva gather(kUDa)around, as Narada and Tumburu sing(pADa) beautiful music(sangItangaL)

As rows and rows (pandi pandiyAi) of Vedic scholars (andaNar) chant (pADa) the Vedas (maRai( , and Gopalakrishna strikes(pODa) the Maddalam (I saw the dance and attained bliss)
