Meaning:
Pallavi: O Mind! It is Rama who has assigned to Brahma, Shiva and Indra their duties including the God of death. How can fear of death grip the devotee?

Anupallavi: Ascetics who, free from worldly attachments, engage in constant remembrance of the Lord with boundless devotion have no fear of death.

CaraNam: Those devotees who involve themselves in singing the divine musical outpourings of Tyagaraja, servant of Gajendrapala, are beyond the pale of death.
