pallavi: O Lord Ganesha, the lord of shastras and the vedas

anupallavi: I pray to you, and worship at your golden, lotus feet, in complete faith

caraNam : You are the prime god for the faithful and devoted, on their path to moksha. (You are) the divine teacher who bestows all blessings to his devotee who sings his praises.
